While installing the Kswap into my civic i noticed that the alternator plug points straight into my radiator. Over time this could cause some serious damage to my radiator with friction and vibration or just chew up my wires to the connector. First off i will show the comparison of the two alternators i have, notice the spot where the connector would go on.

opps, radiator plug was in the way. But you can obviously see how having the plug pointed forwards can be an issue. If you are using a drivers sided half rad then you could probably get away with this alternator. Just a forewarning for those about to do their Kswap.
alternator plug right into the rad

Here is a picture of the other alternator with the side plug, good clearance 🙂
If possible i would suggest to get this alternator if you go wit a full size radiator or passenger side mounted radiator. If you have a drivers side mounted radiator then you might be okay.
good clearance
